MEA Academy
Terms of Service
Last updated: September 12, 2026
1. Acceptance
These Terms govern access to and use of the websites, accounts, courses, content, and online services of MEA Academy (Minimal English), referred to as “MEA”. By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or continuing to use the service, you acknowledge these Terms and MEA's Privacy Policy.
2. Learning services
MEA provides program information, learning content, classes, assessments, progress, certificates, and support features depending on the course. A program's description, schedule, fees, access period, and specific conditions are presented at enrollment or in the agreement that applies to that program.
3. Accounts and Google sign-in
You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, and remain responsible for lawful activity on your account. You may not share, transfer, sell, or allow another person to use the account unless MEA permits it. Notify MEA promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
A user who cannot independently conduct a transaction or manage an account under applicable law must have the appropriate consent or supervision of a parent or legal representative.
When you choose Google sign-in, you allow Google to authenticate you and provide the basic account information needed for MEA to create or link your account. Google's processing is governed by Google's terms and policies; MEA's processing is described in MEA's Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the service only for learning and lawful purposes. You must not:
- Access accounts, data, APIs, servers, or security controls without authority.
- Copy, distribute, resell, broadcast, record, or exploit learning content outside the applicable license or written permission.
- Upload malware or content that violates law, privacy, intellectual-property, or other legal rights.
- Misrepresent assessment results, certificates, or progress, or disrupt the service or other users.
- Use automated tools to scrape data, scan, create abnormal load, or evade technical limits without MEA's permission.
5. Content and intellectual property
Trademarks, interfaces, curricula, video, audio, images, documents, software, and content supplied by MEA or its partners are protected by applicable law and licenses. Enrollment gives you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right of access for the program period. It does not transfer ownership of the content.
You retain rights in content you create and submit. You allow MEA to process, store, and display it as needed to deliver the service, support learning, protect the service, and fulfill your requests.
6. Enrollment, fees, and refunds
Fees, payment methods, access periods, transfer, cancellation, and refund terms are presented for each course before the transaction or in the applicable agreement. Where terms differ, the specific conditions presented and accepted for that course apply, but they do not limit mandatory consumer rights under applicable law.
For a digital course or document, access is delivered through the account, an activation code, or an electronic link under the method and timing shown at enrollment. If payment has been confirmed but access has not been delivered, the user may contact MEA for investigation and remedy.
7. Changes and availability
MEA may maintain, fix, upgrade, or adjust features and content to protect quality, security, or program integrity. MEA will seek to give reasonable notice of planned changes that materially affect access. Internet, device, third-party service, or other events outside reasonable control may cause temporary interruption.
8. Suspension and termination
MEA may temporarily restrict or terminate an account where there is a reasonable basis to believe it poses a security risk, is used without authority, involves fraud, or materially or repeatedly violates these Terms. Where appropriate, MEA will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to respond or remedy the issue. A user may request account closure under the Privacy Policy.
9. Privacy
The Privacy Policy at /en/policy forms part of these Terms and explains the data MEA processes, its purposes, sharing, retention, and user rights.
10. Responsibility
MEA remains responsible as required by law and seeks to provide the service in line with its description, applicable agreement, and reasonable standards. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights. Users are responsible for their devices, Internet access, conduct, and direct consequences of violating these Terms.
11. Requests and disputes
For a complaint, contact minimalielts@gmail.com and provide enough information for MEA to verify and respond. The parties should first try to resolve the issue in good faith. Unresolved disputes are handled under Vietnamese law and by a competent authority, without removing any mandatory consumer choice or protection.
12. Changes to these Terms
MEA may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. A new version will be posted with its updated date. MEA will give reasonable notice before a material change to rights or duties where required by law.
13. Contact
Questions about these Terms or the service can be sent to minimalielts@gmail.com.
