A quiet achiever with consistency and character
Minh Đức was never the loud or “naturally gifted” student in English. He’s calm, disciplined, and diligent — always completing tasks thoroughly and approaching learning one step at a time.
When Đức first started studying IELTS, his performance didn’t stand out. But what set him apart was his commitment and humility: he never skipped homework, always studied teacher feedback in detail, and most importantly – never let himself get stuck in place.

A journey built on strong fundamentals
At Minimal English, Đức was introduced to a method that went beyond chasing exam tricks. Instead, he focused on building core skills:
- In Writing, he learned to organize ideas logically, rather than memorize templates.
- In Reading, he practiced overall comprehension – reading fast, thinking deeply, and avoiding word-for-word translation.
- In Speaking, he trained to respond naturally, using appropriate vocabulary without sounding forced or unnatural.
Though the progress was gradual, his teachers believed in him – because he followed a structured path and never stopped growing.
The result – and a new beginning
After nearly a year of study, Đức achieved 7.5 Overall in IELTS – a reward for his persistent effort:
- Listening: 8.0
- Reading: 8.0
- Writing: 6.5
- Speaking: 6.5
👉 Overall: 7.5 IELTS
A new chapter began. Đức was accepted into Foreign Trade University – and later returned to Minimal English not as a student, but as an Academic Officer.
He now helps create in-depth materials, supports the advanced Writing classes, and guides new students on their IELTS journeys.
