Bảo Nam – 8.0 IELTS – Vinschool Times City High School
Passionate about English and returning with a strong breakthrough

Bảo Nam – Grade 11, Vinschool Times City – IELTS 8.0
“Passion – Self-discipline – Perseverance”
To me, Bảo Nam represents the true image of a student who is genuinely passionate about and deeply interested in English. He joined Minimal English in the early days when the class was still small, as a curious, eager, and polite student in grades 6–7.
From the very first lessons until now, what has impressed me most about Nam is not his scores, but his ability to keep his learning spirit and passion for English alive throughout the years. It is this love for the language that has helped him develop naturally - from his thinking and intonation to his pronunciation, all reflecting a strong British-American standard.
There was a period when Nam temporarily paused his studies to focus on academic work and prepare for gifted student competitions at school. However, when a new goal emerged - to formalise his passion with an IELTS certificate as a gateway to his dream university - he returned to Minimal English. He was still the same eager learner, but now more mature, more determined, and full of resolve.
During the three months of preparation in the Ngọn class, Nam consistently demonstrated the attitude of a student that gave me great confidence. He was careful and self-disciplined in every assignment, always listened attentively, and adjusted his performance after each piece of feedback. Above all, he maintained his love for English and his desire to learn - learning not only to know, but to understand and apply it in real life.
Thanks to this perseverance, Nam achieved a remarkable result in his very first test - IELTS 8.0 overall, a well-deserved outcome for his continuous effort.
🎯 Results:
_ Listening: 8.0
_ Reading: 8.5
_ Writing: 7.0
_ Speaking: 7.5
👉 Overall: IELTS 8.0

Thank you to Nam and his family for their trust in Minimal English from the very beginning.
I truly believe that this passion and self-discipline will take him even further - not only in English, but in every future academic and life journey.
