Hải Yến – 7.5 IELTS: From Language High School to the US overseas student

🌟 Hải Yến – 7.5 IELTS: From Language High School to a dream of studying in the U.S

Quiet strength that travels far

Hải Yến isn’t the type of student who’s often in the spotlight. But every step she takes is steady and full of purpose. She joined Minimal English during high school with a clear goal: study abroad in the United States.

She didn’t just want a high IELTS score – she wanted to master English as a life skill, a tool to thrive in a completely new environment.

🎓 Learn to use, not just to pass

At Minimal English, Yến took a serious, step-by-step approach:

Build skills from the ground up
Focus on concepts, not test tricks
Avoid tip-chasing, and instead learn properly

Her progress showed:

Her Writing was sharp and logical – the result of deep critical thinking before even putting pen to paper
Her Reading was exceptional, thanks to strong topic analysis and quick comprehension
Her Speaking started off shaky, but improved through constant practice and pronunciation work

Even on days packed with school projects and club activities, Yến never let English fall behind. She knew this was the key to unlocking a bigger world.

🎯 More than just a score

After months of consistent effort, Yến took the test and achieved:

Listening: 8.0
Reading: 8.5
Writing: 7.5
Speaking: 6.0
👉 Overall: 7.5 IELTS

But that wasn’t the end. She’s now studying in the U.S., adjusting to a new life, and starting her first personal projects – maybe in education, community work, or any field she believes in.

💡 Independent and full of courage

Hải Yến represents a new generation of learners: learning to do, not just to score. She knows what she wants, studies seriously to achieve it, and keeps her focus – even when the road is tough.

Want a journey like this? This summer, Minimal English is ready to walk with you.
“Learn simply – achieve more.”
